In order to obtain the standardized dried extract, process control parameters of manufacturing operations were established and they were continuously tracked to provide reproducibility from batch-to-batch and to assure productsquality. Extraction maceration from Lippia sidoides leaves was used to produce thymol-containing liquid extracts. Optimal extraction conditions were determined and the selected extractive solution was spray dried. Effect of different carrier ratios on physicochemical and antifungal properties of dried extracts was evaluated.
